DR. JOHN TRIBUTE

A LEGEND, SINCE FOREVER.

A modern sportbike, restyling of the glorious Daytona.

The Daytona is the symbol of Moto Guzzi return to the competition world, after many years of interruption. This come-back was possible thanks to the passion and genius of the famous “Dr. John”.
John Wittner was a passionate American dentist who developed and raced successfully with a prototype from which the Daytona road version was later derived. His intuitions remained an inspiration for enthusiasts and customizers of Moto Guzzi. His creation is to this day one of the most successful racing bikes born within the glorious tradition of Moto Guzzi. The original piece is on show in the Moto Guzzi museum in Mandello, but there is hardly any workshop in which you can’t find its picture.
Today Ghezzi-Brian presents a modern restyling of the glorious Daytona, dedicated to Dr John.

The mechanics based on the glorious V-Twin, together with the modifications introduced by Ghezzi-Brian, guarantee great performance and pure fun.

It gives its best on twists and turns, where the bike requires vigorous arms and determined throttle.
Just the way it used to be in the good old times. And just the way Dr. John liked it.
Daytona is back and it is a true sportbike, but always faithful to itself and its legend. It is a masterpiece for connoisseurs, for those who like to keep tradition alive but appreciate the latest technology just as well.
